My goal is to help patients achieve and maintain their optimal health. I work closely with patients and their families to not only develop personalized care plans, but to educate them through all aspects of their care from diagnosis to recovery.
Dr. Lisa Haubert obtained her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her General Surgery residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. During residency, Dr. Haubert also received a Master of Science degree in Anatomy from The Ohio State University and performed research in surgical education. Her research was used to develop a novel medical student curriculum with greater involvement of surgeons in student education and experience. She then completed a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the esteemed Cleveland Clinic Florida.
Dr. Haubert’s clinical interests include advanced minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery, as well as common anorectal conditions including fistulas, fissures, and hemorrhoids. Dr. Haubert treats pelvic floor disorders in both men and women including constipation and fecal incontinence. She also performs colonoscopies and is actively involved in the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
