Thu Ha Liz Lee

Dr. Lee graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She completed her medical school and residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. After finishing her training, Dr. Lee was an assistant professor of surgery at both the Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Cincinnati. Since joining the group, Dr. Lee specializes in general surgery and diseases of the breast. She continues to keep abreast of the changing practices in surgery to offer her patients the most advanced care. She believes in performing minimally invasive procedures to improve recovery time and also incorporates the latest techniques, including single incision laparoscopic surgery for select patients. In addition, she provides a complete array of breast services which range from state-of-art ultrasound office-based procedures consisting of US-guided biopsies, aspirations, minimally invasive office-based removal of benign breast lesions, and partial breast irradiation. She also provides high-risk genetic counseling/screening and incorporates oncoplastic techniques to allow for the best oncologic and cosmetic outcome possible for patients diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Lee believes that every patient is unique and individualizes each patient’s overall treatment plan based on their disease process, concurrent medical issues, lifestyle, and personal preference. Dr. Lee speaks fluent Vietnamese and enjoys sharing her faith, meeting new people, golf, and reading. In her spare time, she enjoys spending it with her husband and 4 children, including and twin boys.
