John Abdelsayed

Dr. John Abdelsayed is a true Texas native. He was born and raised in Houston and started his medical education at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He then went on and completed his General Surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. During this time he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical honor society and also selected to receive the Gold Humanism Award which recognizes physicians who serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine.

After his General Surgery training, Dr. Abdelsayed spent a year specializing in colon and rectal surgery at UT Southwestern & Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX.
